The Roxy 123 French Street, New Brunswick, N.J. was a popular alternative live music and dance club in New Brunswick, New Jersey during the town’s heyday as a world renowned music hub in the 1980s.  Located directly across the street from the infamous Melody Bar, patrons would often go back and forth between the two venues over the evening.  This shirt is an exact reproduction of a Roxy shirt made in 1986.  The original shirt is now in the New Brunswick Music Archive (part of Rutgers University).  The Roxy closed for good sometime in the late 1990’s.
